Steps to designating your Child as a FL
1. Help your child think about what being a FL means to them
2. Register as a FL
3. Complete a Self-Directed IEP (learner and parent-led Individual Education Plan)
4. Create a plan for gaining access to school facilities your child would like to use
5. Meet and communicate your FL requirements with the school
What you might want to bring to the meeting:
- Signed copy of the Resolution to be a Free Learner (printable copy)
- Completed Self-Directed IEP
- Completed “what does being a FL mean to me” (optional)
- Completed Permission Forms
